That was a good series of doodles. And without colors we can see how the show is worked on. Nice work!

THIS is the kind of animation that HBO should be showing. The story and setting would fit quite well in that Cable channel.
The animation and story telling is simple. But still cool to see what can be made in one week. Good job.
The character named Satan is literally a knock-off of Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z.
I love it!
This first episode came out really well!
Seeing my backgrounds for the bar scene being used is very uplifting for me at the start of 2019. Makes me wanna be more committed to this series. Make more backgrounds to it.
Say, Is it pretentious of me to comment on a Collaboration I worked in?
If it is I won't do it again.
Just about every single major Anime show is like this. One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball, All Anime's with over 500 episodes will have filler arcs. The only good reason I can think of, As to why a panning scene should be slowed down to 0.5, Is when there is something interesting to look at. Like a sexually attractive woman in a bikini who is meant to make the fans jack off themselves. Or look at backgrounds that would actually be presented in an public art museum. Just my opinion. Also, This is just me commenting the source material. By the time the original creator of One Piece (Eiichiro Oda.) finally reveals what the one piece treasure is within the anime, All the original fans from the first issue of the Manga series would totally stop caring. The closest we can speculate about the treasure.
Back to this animation. It's quite entertaining how the animators are acknowledging with the viewers criticisms. They know Anime cliches suck, We know Anime cliches suck, So lets all create and watch a Newgrounds animation to laugh about it! And this video made me realize that most bad things about Anime don't happen with American Cartoons. No filler episodes with Gravity Falls, Adventure time, And the Loud House. These show's are too short and simple to have as much filler as Anime does.
Overall, Good fan animation. Keep up the good work!
When I saw this cartoon for the first time. And Saw plankton walk on the scene, I had the thought that Mr.Crabs would eat him for the L.O.L.'s. And that's what happened.
I still enjoyed myself with the show.
Great work here!
For what this is, I enjoyed this cartoon!
You say that you are not the best at animation, And that's OK. Because you make up for that with the visual art style. Its like watching moving Oil painting. Its nice. The pacing is calm. Not fast, But gets the job done.
And the characters are cool to watch. The admiral is a stern fellow, but not uptight. Squirrel Boots is very easy on the eyes. As a Deviant artist, I can imagine there being sexy fan art of her. (Maybe I'll do that someday. ...Maybe.)
I give you four stars, because I do not believe in perfect art.
Thank you so much for the kind and fair review. I'm glad you can appreciate the art even though the animation isn't the best. I did put a lot of work into the backgrounds and stuff.
Ooh, I would love to see Squirrely Boots fan art someday ^_^
Thanks again for watching.
I remember seeing the female alien and this very cartoon being presented on DeviantArt.com.
I think you did a very wise choice in uploading it here at Newgrounds.com!
Watching this cartoon again gave an interesting "Role-reversal" idea.
Stick with me on this,
What if there was a female robot (Fembot) who is in love with a male human. The human tells the robot that his oxygen tank is very out-dated. So he tells the fembot to race to the Hospital to get an updated air tank. While his space suit puts him into suspended animation for only 10 minutes. The fembot gets back in time to save the mans life. They love each other The end.
One more thing. I can understand why it took you 8 months to make this animation. This animation must be a side hobby for you, While you have real life responsibilities to deal with. ( Going to a job, house chores, caring for pets, dealing with family members.)
If there's going to be a sequel, I can wait for it!
Peace.
Hi, Joe! 8D Thanks. I haven't used this website for so many years ago.
That's not bad idea, but maybe not.
In 2015, I didn't have a job yet, but I was looking them up on an internet and I haven't found one. It was totally my hobby with my knowledge of 2D animation and it was for my portfolio, too.
Heheh, I don't think this short animation has a sequel. Nor did I anticipated it.
